3 Weeks to Tag Rugby 2014 your support is needed!!

Well its just 3 weeks to go and what a week it has been!!

On Monday we found out from our referees kit sponsor that the supplier was unable to meet the timescale for the event. But after some manic tweeting on Monday and Tuesday we had some amazing responses from some great kit suppliers, and as a trust we would like to say thank you to everyone of you that responded. Due to the limited budget and timescales we have gone with a kind offer from Xamax . This does not mean that the other brands where not competitive on price or locality, it was just that we as a Trust just decided that due to the fact that they could still design a bespoke kit for our price range, that would be the option for us, a big thank you to Tiffany at Xamax for helping us too. We will be looking for next years supplier in June to July time and aiming to sign 2 sponsors up for the event at that time too, hopefully this will stop any issues like this happening again.

We are still looking for teams to sign up to play in the event on the following link Try Tag Rugby Events Nathan Cubitt please remember you can be an all male team for one half of the event or a either a mixed team of all ladies team for the other half of the event, we are trying to make the event all inclusive and would love to see lots more mixed teams taking part, without you and your teams we would have no event!!

Also we are looking for teams for the Tug Of War challenge if you would like to enter a team, either mates, club, work or social group then this is open to you, its free to enter. we have so much family fun going on at this years event too, from bouncy castle and slide, face painting, Hog Roast, BBQ sweet stalls, cake stall, tandem space hoppers (not sure how these work but will test them the night before), we are also looking at running stand up bingo during the half time break, along with our junior dance troupe in that break. If you have a small pop up stall then please get in touch. on the contact details in this post as we only charge £10 for a stall for the day and have around 400 people through the gate.

We also need stewards for the event, so if you can spare an hour or 2 on Sunday 25th May then please contact Mark and we would welcome your help.

They bar will be open during the day and through the evening, although we are not doing any entertainment during the evening, we are going to spend some time there packing up and also presenting the awards to the winning teams. So don't rush off join us for a drink and a chat as the events team often don't get to meet everyone and this is there chance to chat and say thank you to you for attending.
