2013 Tag Update

Well its been a good week for us on the Tag Rugby front. Sian from Hardcore Personal Training is on with choosing the referee's kit for this years event as she is once again sponsoring that for us. Karl Collins last years final referee has agreed to sponsor the match balls for the day. A massive thank you to both Sian and Karl from Nathan and all of us involved with the event.

We have had a team from Bradford Salem Juniors Dads register already, and an enquiry from a ladies team in Halifax who would like to join us.

So thinks are slowly building up to what looks like being another amazing day for us all.

On top of that Nathan has been driving his new van for the first time, around private land , but he can drive it and is learning to use all the adapted controls. Next is having the chair altered so he can get himself in and out of the van. But the basics od driving and steering are proving to be no problem, despite the size of the van.

If you would like to join us at the Tag Rugby, please email Mark Dunstan on nathantagrugby@gmail.com this is the same email if you would like to sponsor the full event for £500 or if you can donate a raffle prize.

Amazing Bumbles

Just a very quick update and invite to all of you to support the Bradford and Bingley Bumbles, this Sunday 17th February at Wagon Lane, Bingley, kick off 1pm as they take on a Baildon select team.

These are amazing young men with different disabilities but still playing the game they love to a high standard, and we enjoyed having them at our Tag Rugby 2012, and are hoping they will be attending the 2013 event.

Nathan update

Well its not been a very good week for Nathan this week, he's had district nurses out for extra visits and the doctor. Then on Friday he had to go into Airedale hospital for a few hours.

But the good news is that he's now improving and is back to giving out stick to Naomi and Billy.

He's also got a van that with a bit of look he will be able to drive himself, once everything has been done and he's had the correct assessments

Moving on to the Tag rugby we are still looking for a sponsor for the event, also raffle prizes. So if you company or club can help us then we would really appreciate it. As with last year everyone who donates a raffles prizes will be promoted through the blog.

We are currently working on trying to secure Mountain Bike extreme stunt specialist Chris Akrigg for a display at the Tag Rugby also. Please watch this space for updates on details on this and fingers crossed we can secure Chris.

If you can help with displaying of poster for the event then please get in touch with us at nathantagrugby@gmail.com and we will send you some.
