Tag Rugby 2015!!!

Well it's that time of year where we start the planning for Tag Rugby 2015.

With the amazing number of teams last year with Try Tag Rugby on board, and 2015 being the launch of their Yorkshire leagues, we are hoping we can convince them that coming to Keighley and joining with us again is worth while.

We will be starting to look for sponsors for the event in the New Year, as we understand that before Christmas companies are busy with party planning.

2015 Ball - 1 year to go!!!!

Well the room is now booked for Saturday the 8th November 2015 at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa hotel, Accrington. This is an amazing hotel and venue for the ball, with the Big Party Band once again also booked for the ball, we are planning an amazing night. Made even more special by the fact that it is Rugby Union World Cup year and the Ball is the night before Remembrance Sunday.

Force Exiles our event partners for the event can be followed on Twitter @ForcesExiles and their parent charity does so much for the families of both injured and and families of service man and women who haven't returned from service, having given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. That it makes everyone involved with Nathan proud to have them on board with us.

Forces Exiles are also looking for a rugby game up here on the Saturday, we know it will be during the season, but Nathan's uncle Ronnie has been passed this task, as we want to make this game something special for them and the Trust if we can too, if your reading this and can help or play in this special game then please get in touch with Mark on 07595337159 and he will get your details and make sure they are passed to Ronnie.

Tickets will cost £40 and this will be for a full 3 course sit down meal and an amazing night of entertainment. If your from Keighley area and want tickets and interested in us setting up a coach too and from the venue, then please let us know. We are currently in the process of setting up a way of purchasing tickets through PayPal for those of you who would prefer to buy online also, but in the mean time if you could let us know by phone or email then we would appreciate it.

2 Day to the Luau

Only 2 days to go to the Luau!!

Come and join us for a night of fun and games, the night is about everyone enjoying themselves and is a total alternative to our normal annual ball. Although we will be making a big announcement about our ball on the night too.

Tickets still for sale for the Luau, if you would like to reserve one or buy one before the night, they cost £5 each and can be bought from the club or from Mark Dunstan on 07595337159. The first team are at home on Saturday too so why not pop down and watch them and pick up a ticket at the same time.

Hawaiian Luau

With less than 2 weeks to go to the Hawaiian Luau and following some interesting negative comments this week that as an event team we will not be dwelling on but we will be taking stock for future events!!

Please can you let us know if you would like a ticket for the evening.

We are planning all sorts of fun Hawaiian based games, with just good old fun for everyone. We are not looking to do any raffles or auctions on the night, the whole idea is for everyone to have fun and relax. This is a fun night that we are hoping everyone will enjoy.

2015 Ball Partner Required Urgently

We where due to have a joint ball at the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa on 8yh November 2015, but the other party involved has now pulled out. The room and hotel is provisionally booked and is a great venue, The Big Party Band who played our ball in 2013 have offered to play at the ball.

So all the ground work is done, it is just now the promotional and selling of tickets once prices are agreed part that needs to be done.

We are urgently looking for another Rugby Charity or Spinal Injury Charity to come on board as an event partner with the proceeds split between both parties.
