Nathan Update

Well it's been a busy week for Nathan with a check up at LGI were he announced to Sue that he had some strength in his triceps and also had managed to move a finger a little without much effort. Which is actually a major improvement, although in Nathan's words it no big deal!!.

He then went and had his first Tattoo done, a design of his own with the anniversary of his accident so close.

Then he's had issues with his suprapubic catheter and spent 4 hours in A&E at Airedale today, he's not best pleased and wasn't impressed at all. But knows it's one of those things and will just crack on!!

He's got lots of ideas for the Tag Rugby and keeps asking me who we have registered, at the moment we have no teams but i know that will changed soon.

Nathan's Hoodies

Nathan before he went for his operation in Pinderfields last week desgined and ordered his own Hoodies for the Trust.

By a miracle they arrived this morning his first day back home.

So despite having a minor operation and the specialist wanting to keep a closer eye on him, Nathan has a huge smile on his face, matched only by Naomi bouncing around with excitment at the hoodies.

They are now going to get prices for bulk buying them, but will be taking orders, so if you want one, then email nathantagrugby@gmail.com

Sian - Dublin 2012

The lovely Sian Griffin of Hardcore Personal Training, who sponsored our referees at the 2012 Tag Rugby, is running the Dublin Marathon on the 29th October for my Trust fund and also for Isabella Grace.org another amazing charity and worthy cause.

Tag Rugby 2013

Well ladies and Gentlemen we are under way and planning is moving at a pace. With the Rhythm Junkies confirmed for the evening entertainment and Yorkshire Hog Roast confirmed for the catering, the 2013 Nathan Cubitt Tag Rugby is taking place on Sunday 26th May 2013, at Keighley Rugby Union Club.

I have just spoken with Lindsay at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, who has already agreed a raffle prizes for the day and also said she will be happy to help with accommodation for any teams requiring it.

Nathan & Naomi have lots of ideas for more entertainment around the site too, which is going to be great. I am also speaking with Ian McGreagor who helped with Nathan's Trust Tee Shirts and we may have Tee Shirts on sale on the day, so watch this space for details there.

2013 Tag Rugby

Here we go again!!!!!

We have now confirmed that the 2013 Tag Rugby will be taking place on Sunday 26th May 2013 at Keighley Rugby Union Club. Yes this is the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend to give teams from further a field chance to come and take part, and also to give us more chance to set up on the Saturday and make sure you all have an amazing day.

We have requested the sun comes out as it did this year, and that we have another fun filled day.

Application forms for entry into the event can be found here Tag Rugby Entry along with the rules. We have kept the entry fee the same as last year, as we want as many teams as possible to come and make it a great day.

Prizes again will be awarded for best fancy dress and furthest travelled.

Nathan is coming up with his own ideas for the day too, so watch this space is all i can say on that one.

If your wanting to travel from afar for the event then let me know as i will be speaking to local hotels, I know Sara at the Unicorn Hotel Skipton has already said that she will be willing to help with accommodation for teams.
