Masquerade Ball Final Count Down

Well just 3 days until our ball with Forces Exiles at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Accrington on Saturday 7th November.

We are on the final push to sell tickets, if you have any interest in supporting our service men and women when they are leaving the forces, or help a injured formed rugby player who broke his neck at 16 years old, then come and join us on Saturday night. You will find us to be a very welcoming and friendly group, who have all faced adversity either through injury or through the integration back into civilian life.

Even if your not interested in rugby or the armed forces, we have lots to offer you, including great food, a band that travelling all the way from London to join us, and raffle prizes from signed Blackburn, Burnley football clubs, signed rugby balls and shirts and tickets to rugby games.

Trust & Forces Exiles Ball 2015

I have asked Dan and James from Forces Exiles for a few words for the blog and our press release with 4 weeks to go to the masquerade ball, and this is what they have given me, an amazing way to raise funds for charities.

Forces Exiles were born in 2013, from a group of soldiers who wanted to do something a little different to raise awareness of Local Military charities, through the medium of Rugby, from Day 1 Forces Exiles have grown from Strength to strength, on the field and there presence has become well documented nationally and internationally within the rugby Fraternity,

2015 sees Forces Exiles supporting various local Military charities and organisations, We're pleased to say that funds raised at The Nathan Cubitt trust joint ball will go to two organisations close to our hearts, Helping veterans in South Wales who may be suffering hardship, Aswell as supporting service leavers with a smooth transition to Civillian a huge move for anyone leaving the armed forces.

Masquerade Ball With Forces Exiles 1 Month Away

With just 40 days to the ball and the Dunkenhalgh, Clayton Le Moors, on 7th November 2015, we still have tickets for sale, looking for a table from Rugby Clubs, including our own club Keighley if possible. To help we have managed to arrange a free coach from Keighley and Silsden for those wanting to make use of this.

With a table for 10 at £380 that's just £38 per person, for a 3 course meal, live music and DJ on a Table booking, or if you want to just come as a small group it's £40 per ticket.

Also if you have any friends or family in the Armed Forces please remember that this is a joint ball with Forces Exiles Rugby, who's funds go to the Forces Exiles Trust, for helping ex Service personnel, so come and join us an pay your respect on the night before remembrance day.

We have some great raffle prizes and getting more all the time, along with a table draw for cash on the night, a photographer and working on other things for the night.

Rooms are available at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh from £85 with Breakfast and including full use of the leisure facilities with the room.

So far we have tables booked by Little Islands , Richards Residential Supplies , S 'n' T Hair Studio , Forces Exiles and East Lancs Hospitals Urgent Care Burnley, others to be confirmed.

Update On Ball 2015

Ball planning is going very well and sales for tickets is picking up now the seasons started, just trying to secured a couple of EX Professionals for the evening, so we have decided to announce that if you secure a known sporting name on your table we will provide you with your first bottle of wine free on the night.

We have now got the coach prices in and can announce that the coach will be free from Keighley and Silsden, so all you Keighley Rugby Union players have the chance to come after your match too.

Ball 2015

Well we are well on the way with the planning of the 2015 Ball, the band is now confirmed as Seeing Red, Sounding Blue who are 4 piece covers band from London, playing Classic Rock and Blues favourites, spanning the decades.

We are urgently searching for a printer to print our poster for the event. We are willing to pay, just looking for quality printing at a fair price.

2015 Ball

Well ladies and gentlemen its time to start planning your big night out to our ball on Saturday 7th November 2015, along with the Force Exiles Rugby team we will be holding the ball at the amazing Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa rooms start at £85 and this is a discounted rate from their website rate.

Prices are £40 a ticket or £380 for a table of 10, for 3 course meal and live band with disco, raffle and auction too.

We raised around £176.00 for the Danny Jones Foundation through the stand up auction and the balloons we released, so a massive thank you for that. Also the photo of everyone at half time got hundreds of shares across twitter, 2 codes one family together.
