The Try Tag Rugby Team In their Referees Kit and Mark Dunstan Event Manager |
A big thank you to everyone that attended on Sunday for the Tag Rugby Rugby, despite the terrible weather we raised around £2,800.00 before we pay any outstanding invoices, this will be split between the Trust and Matt Hampson Foundation.
We didn't get to do a lot of our planned fundraising and games on the day, due to the weather and the conditions underfoot.
A big thank you to our event partners who ran the games in some testing conditions weather wise and also to our referee's on the day. I know all our event staff and the partnership staff where soaking by the end of the day, thank you for sticking with it every last one of you.
Here are the results from the day:
21 teams took part in
the competition, which was the biggest Nathan Cubitt Tag Rugby Event to date.
We hope you enjoyed the event and had a great day of Tag Rugby!

It was great to meet you all on Sunday and it would be great to see some of you
making the trip to London on the 16th August to take part in the 2014 London

mixed Champions League, mixed Grade B, mixed Grade C and Men’s
competitions. Registration is now open for team and individual registrations.
