Urgently required for Tag Rugby 2015

Well not too long to go to Tag Rugby 2015 and we have had a meeting for what is still required.

We urgently require referees for the day, a free kit and food on the day will be provided for anyone that can help us out, the rules we will be playing by are here tag-rugby rules although we play 7 minutes each way not 20 minutes. Also we are looking for Tombola prizes for the event, if anyone has anything no matter how small we would love to hear from you, please contact us on the details above or if you know Sue or Naomi than speak to them.

We are also looking for some safety barriers to go around our hog roast while its cooking, if anyone works for a company that has some we can borrow for the day we would be grateful.

Our biggest issue is that we have tried a number of children's face painters and we still haven't been able to book one, please get in touch if you can help, this has always been a great success every year we have done the Tag Rugby and we would hate not to carry this on.

Team registration is still open and we are hoping to have all teams registered by the Wednesday before the event which is 20th May, as this will then enable us to have all your matches worked out for you when you arrive in the morning, and also be able to send you out the rules as soon as you have registered for the event. Richards Residential Supplies have agreed to be a part event sponsor along with Try Tag Rugby who have done so by providing us with the official Tag Rugby shorts to sell on the day as part of their sponsorship. However we are still looking for other sponsors no matter how small your business is we can come to some arrangement and spread the name of your business to help promote you in return for your sponsorship.

Tag Rugby 2015 update

We are moving along with the planning for Tag Rugby 2015 now.

We have the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Yorkshire regiment attending in some form on the day.

We also have Zumba for the half time entertainment.

Now what we need is for you to start to register your teams with the registration form here Nathan Cubitt Trust Tag Rugby Registration Form once completed this can either be handed to one of the event staff, or emailed to nathantagrugby@gmail.com any problems please call Mark Dunstan on 07595337159.

We would like to have as many mixed teams as possible this year, although we are not going to say that you have to have a mixed team, as we understand this is not possible for a lot of teams.

We now have our referees kit sponsor, Iain Harris who will be very shortly opening a new Physiotherapy Practice in Crosshills, a big thank you to Iain for this.

However we are still looking for event sponsors to help cover the costs of other essentials on the day, such as our requirement for and ambulance and paramedic to be on site all day. Tag Rugby 2015 the planning

Well ladies and gentleman the planning has started for Tag Rugby 2015 and we are looking for people and companies to come on board with us for this years event.

Looking for sponsors, mainly a referees kit sponsors, the kit last year with company name on cost £280.00 to £300.00. Also either a single or joint event sponsors, without who we can't run the event and manage to keep making funds for Nathan and anything he needs to help with his day to day life.

We want to make this years event another massive success building on previous years, and also making this another great family day out for the community, not just those interested in rugby.

If you have any ideas we are open to everything during the planning stages, just approach us and lets see what we can do.

Some people do think that now Nathan is home that everything is going well, but he needs regular physiotherapy and also has spent nearly 2 months on bed rest due to how his condition and being unable to get up and move around effects his skin, which in turn then sets off other complications. He had to miss out on going to a charity boxing night before Christmas due to the complications caused by his injury. But this said he still remains positive and keeps on smiling and having a positive outlook on everything, he is truly inspirational.

Tag Rugby 2015!!!

Well it's that time of year where we start the planning for Tag Rugby 2015.

With the amazing number of teams last year with Try Tag Rugby on board, and 2015 being the launch of their Yorkshire leagues, we are hoping we can convince them that coming to Keighley and joining with us again is worth while.

We will be starting to look for sponsors for the event in the New Year, as we understand that before Christmas companies are busy with party planning.

2015 Ball - 1 year to go!!!!

Well the room is now booked for Saturday the 8th November 2015 at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa hotel, Accrington. This is an amazing hotel and venue for the ball, with the Big Party Band once again also booked for the ball, we are planning an amazing night. Made even more special by the fact that it is Rugby Union World Cup year and the Ball is the night before Remembrance Sunday.

Force Exiles our event partners for the event can be followed on Twitter @ForcesExiles and their parent charity does so much for the families of both injured and and families of service man and women who haven't returned from service, having given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. That it makes everyone involved with Nathan proud to have them on board with us.

Forces Exiles are also looking for a rugby game up here on the Saturday, we know it will be during the season, but Nathan's uncle Ronnie has been passed this task, as we want to make this game something special for them and the Trust if we can too, if your reading this and can help or play in this special game then please get in touch with Mark on 07595337159 and he will get your details and make sure they are passed to Ronnie.

Tickets will cost £40 and this will be for a full 3 course sit down meal and an amazing night of entertainment.
